A big welcome from one state to your north. Hope you like it here. Do you have any good tornado or hurricane stories?

I live next to San Antonio and had one come a mile next to house back in 04 blew then fence and all the glass out took 2 months to get it back to normal with family's help.
Any stories for you?

Never had any direct tornado damage but did have a doozy of a hail storm that hammered our roof once. The biggest scare was the May 3rd F5 that went through Moore and cut a mile wide swath. That one was headed straight for us but made a turn at the last minute. That one made us and a bunch of other folks see the need for safe rooms.

Haven't had any tornados since I've been in TX (Aggieland).

Ft Jackson took some hits from the remains of Hurricane Bonnie in 2004, and Ft Bragg and vicinity got hit good while I was there (two tornados roughly bracketed where I was living, 10 miles N and S).  Just had power out for about 24 hours with that one.
