Evil thought of the day
« on: November 05, 2012, 11:36:52 AM »
A woman needs honest elections like a fish needs a bicycle!

Now that I've got that out of my head, I can go back to observing ballot counting next to the people from the other party. Did I mention it's been an interesting couple of weeks here in Portland?

Portland, where Occupy rioted on Saturday and attempted to firebomb a police car today. I'm thinking seriously of wearing nomex to observe election counting tomorrow.

I am making sure the Multnomah County deputies are thinking in terms of Occupy interference tomorrow night. I will ask the director of elections to see about getting some extra extinguishers in case they try to firebomb the ballots. Anarchists just don't respect actual democracy all that much...probably because they're mostly fascists.

Oregon then.

I guess Portland, Maine has more sense than that.  Or it's just too cold.
