Soap and Nitrile Gloves
« on: August 25, 2012, 04:44:06 PM »
Couple of questions:

What brand or type of bar soap would you recommend for LTS that offers a high degree of antibacterial properties?

How best to store bar soap for LTS prepping?

Finally, how long can one expect Nitrile Gloves to hold up in LTS, and what is the best storage method for them?

Any soap is good.  The very biggest reduction in numbers of bacteria in hand washing happen with just washing.  The antibacterial properties are minor compared to just cleaning the hands off.

And nitrile gloves will go bad when the plasticizers evaporate.  Keep them in an airtight container in a cool environment and that will be minimized.

Do I treat Glocks like I treat my lawn mowers?  No, I treat them worse.  I treat my defensive weapons like my fire extinguishers and smoke detector - annual maintenance and I expect them to work when needed

I have no idea if Sunlight bar soap is available in the US, but if it is I recommend you try some of it...  It will also keep as long as any other soap.  Link >>>
